Nature’s Intention makes use of selected third-party courier companies to ensure reliable delivery at the best possible rates for our customers. Courier fees are subject to change in accordance with courier company policies and may be updated without prior notice.
Please note that deliveries are conducted on business days during standard office hours only.
Free Delivery Options
Nature’s Intention offers free nationwide delivery to main centres only on orders that exceed specified order values. Current promotions, minimum order thresholds, and applicable discounts are published on our website and may change from time to time.
Delivery to regional areas, farms, plots, or townships will be quoted separately.
Order Processing & Delivery Times
Orders are typically processed within 24 hours of receipt; however, dispatch will only occur once payment has been confirmed or valid proof of payment has been received.
Our standard delivery timeframe is 3 to 5 business days, subject to product availability from our suppliers.
Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
No deliveries take place on public holidays within the Republic of South Africa.
If no one is available at the delivery address at the time of delivery, the courier may leave a notification and attempt to arrange a second delivery in accordance with the courier’s terms and conditions.
Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are calculated based on the weight and/or value of your order. Estimated weights displayed online are provided as a guide only. The final shipping cost may vary slightly depending on the actual weight of the dispatched parcel.
Proof of Delivery
Upon delivery, a delivery note will be provided detailing the items delivered, any substitutions or unavailable items, applicable delivery charges, VAT (where applicable), and payment details.
You or your authorised representative will be required to sign the delivery note as confirmation of receipt. The individual accepting delivery may be requested to present valid identification for verification purposes.
Any person present at the delivery address who accepts the order is deemed authorised to do so on your behalf.
If no recipient is available, the courier will retain the goods and attempt to contact you to arrange redelivery or collection. An additional delivery fee may apply.
Delivery Delays
Nature’s Intention’s liability for delivery delays is limited to arranging redelivery at a mutually agreed time at no additional charge.
All deliveries are managed by independent third-party courier providers. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nature’s Intention is not liable for any loss or damage caused by these third parties.
Limitation of Liability
By using delivery services facilitated by Nature’s Intention, you acknowledge that all courier and shipping services are provided by independent third-party companies. Nature’s Intention accepts no responsibility or liability for any deficiencies, delays, or failures in the courier’s services.
While reasonable care is taken in the preparation and dispatch of orders, Nature’s Intention is not liable for loss or damage occurring during transit, regardless of cause. This includes, but is not limited to, damage resulting from accidents, theft, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our control, except where such loss arises from wilful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of Nature’s Intention.
Refund & Returns Policy
Nature’s Intention complies with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa and aims to ensure fair treatment of all customers.
Incorrect, Damaged, or Faulty Items
If you receive an incorrect, damaged, or defective product, please notify us by email within 7 days of delivery. We will, at our cost, arrange collection and either replace the item or issue a refund, in line with the CPA.
Change of Mind
Due to food safety and hygiene regulations, we do not accept returns on food products where the customer has changed their mind, as permitted under the CPA.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method or another appropriate method at our discretion. Refunds are not issued automatically and will only be made once the claim has been reviewed and approved.
Sale & Gift Items
Sale items, clearance items, and gift cards are not eligible for refunds or exchanges unless defective.
Order Discrepancies
Any missing or incorrect items must be reported within 7 days of receipt. Claims submitted after this period will not be accepted.
